Italy is known for its polemic president, Silvio Berlusconi, its famous pizza and pasta and its ancient and beautiful cities like Firenze, Venezia or Verona. The students of the 4th ESO course of the Casa Nostra School are visiting this country and explaining how the trip evolves during the six days it lasts. We're students of the Casa Nostra School and we're going to explain some experiences of our Italian trip. We're going to fly at half past seven. And... That's all! We're going to get on the plane. Bye Alex! We've already arrived at Italy. It's half past eight. Welcome to Italy! We're in Pisa! We're going to Pisa in a little train by the moment. We're to the tower of Pisa. This night we're sleeping in Siena which has a beautiful tower. Peter, what do you think about Siena? It's a beautiful city. Ok! And you Gemma? That's the morning in Siena. Today we're going to visit this city, Siena, and Firenze. This is the duomo of Siena. It took three centuries to build and now we're going to visit it. That's our favorite Italian food: pizza. Firenze is the capital of the region called Toscana. In Firenze we could see the Duomo, which is fantastic from an outside viewpoint, but inside it has only a beautiful painted dome. Now we're in the Duomo of Firenze. We're on the top of the Duomo of Firenze. Today the weather is better and we can see all Firenze. After a long and tiring day, now we're able to go shopping in Firenze. Here we can see all Firenze. Now we're going to leave and go to Verona. We've just arrived to Verona. One place in here which is important is Giulietta & Romeo's house. This is the Verona's colliseum, where a lot of gladiators died in the past. We're travelling across the Grand Canal of Venezia. Venezia is famous for its water channels and the piazza San Marco, which we are going to visit. We've visited all of the places in Venezia, this is one of them. We've just arrived at Girona.

Modern Italy is a democratic republic whose president is Giorgo Napolitano and the Prime minister Silvio Berlusconi. It has been ranked the world's eighteenth most-developed country world.

Some important cities are:

Rome

Venice

Florence

Siena

Pisa

San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena, Tuscany, north-central Italy. It is mainly famous for its medieval architecture, especially its towers, which may be seen from several kilometers outside the town. The town also is known for the white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, grown in the area.

Like all Tourist cities the prize of the things are really expensive. In this case for example, if you need the toilets you must pay fifty cents. Obiously we won’t waste the money for this. We’ll buy a good ice-crem on the center of the town.

Hi everybody. Today we have moved to Siena to see the great Domo. It’s a fantastic city. The cathedral itself was originally designed and completed between 1215 and 1263 on the site of an earlier structure. It has the form of a Latin cross with a slightly projecting transept, a dome and a bell tower which is behind me. We must wait an hour cause it opens at 10 o’clock and we need the ticket that is really expensive. Señorita Luce will bought the ticket for we.

Shut up we must be in silence here. If you look up you will be able to see a fantastic work.

The Florence Baptistery or Battistero di San Giovanni is a religious building in Florence. The octagonal Baptistery stands in both the Piazza del Duomo and the Piazza di San Giovanni, It is one of the oldest buildings in the city, built between 1059 and 1128

The Verona Arena (Arena di Verona) is a Roman amphitheatre in Verona, Italy, which is internationally famous for the large-scale opera performances given there. It is one of the best preserved ancient structures of its kind.

The building itself was built in AD 30 on a site which was then beyond the city walls. The ludi (shows and games) staged there were so famous that spectators came from many other places, often far away, to witness them. The amphitheatre could host more than 30,000 persons in ancient times.
